Afton Chemical’s Jackie Zhou will present on the topic of Advanced Fluid Technology for Push Belt Continuously Variable Transmissions at the 5th TM Symposium China (TMC2013), on April 20th in Suzhou, China.
TM Symposium China is the largest Chinese market focused and cost effective event for new technology and strategy presentations, and opinion sharing in automotive transmission and driveline field. This year, the TM Symposium will focus on the topics relating to efficiency and cost effectiveness improvement for ICE, HEV and EV drivelines.
In his presentation, Mr. Zhou will discuss Afton’s new additive technology for CVT fluids that delivers anti-shudder durability exceeding top level factory fill ATFs, but without compromising overall steel on steel friction characteristics. The performance of this fluid reviewed in the presentation includes variator friction control, wear protection and durability.
