"Everyday we make choices and they are followed by consequences, good and bad." Garrick Williams.

An inspirational film telling the story of an amazing man, Reverend Garrick Williams, and the work he is doing using football to engage young people and help keep them safe while building character—will be premiered at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21st at Agape Miracle Church, 4650 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore Maryland.

The event is being sponsored by The IMPACT Society, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on helping young people. IMPACT has partnered with Agape Miracle Church in an effort to bring awareness and support to the Park Heights Saints.

Activities will include viewing of “The Park Heights Saints Football Team,” a documentary on how one poor urban community confronted a drug culture threatening its children. The film was produced by Rei Perry/IMPACT Media.

Guest Speaker Michael Dorsey from the television show The Biggest Loser will be on hand to discuss the One Click Movement, inspiring youth to tackle obstacles that keep them from pursuing their goals and dreams. The IMPACT Society band will also perform theme-based original music from their “New Youth Culture Tour” multimedia presentation. Pastor Garrick of Agape Miracle Church will provide an introduction.

The IMPACT Society founder & chief executive officer is Daniel Brannon, a recipient of the prestigious Pearson Prize for Higher Education.

“We provide prevention and intervention educational programs and services,” says Brannon. “Our aim is awareness and prevention of substance abuse, bullying, teen pregnancy, dropouts, teen suicide and other destructive behaviors. We put to good use the very real power of music and the arts—to educate and influence people to achieve maximum potential in life.”

A recovering addict himself, Brannon is working in human services and advocating for innovative programs which appeal to emerging new youth leaders—to inspire a youth culture in which drugs and thugs are “out,” and community service, education and leadership are “in.”

His organization works in partnership with Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) in schools, taking their joint message to school assemblies.
