Over the course of the holiday season, LaBov & Beyond Marketing Communications put a question out the to the public: Who should they donate $1,000 to among several distinct and worthwhile charities? These charities included Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Salvation Army Tools for School, Habitat for Humanity, Doctors Without Borders and ASPCA. With more than 15,000 votes, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America received the most votes and received a check for $1,000. This is just another example of the active role LaBov & Beyond Marketing Communications has played in helping local communities.

“Running our business by going beyond in everything we do is inspiring to our clients and our employees, and makes the work we do each and every day so much more meaningful,” said Barry LaBov, President and CEO of LaBov. “Giving to charitable causes is another example of how we go beyond as a company. We view our charitable actions not as obligations but opportunities to give back to the communities that have given us so much over the years.”

These opportunities are numerous, too. On top of the donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, LaBov employees have volunteered their time to participate in the BBBS Lunch Buddies program at local elementary schools. The Lunch Buddies program pairs children with caring adult mentors. In addition to Big Brothers Big Sisters, LaBov employees have donated time, goods, toys and money to the Salvation Army, the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, Habitat for Humanity, Community Harvest Food Bank of North East Indiana and many more.

These efforts are necessary as many local families and individuals are struggling.
