Supreme Group, a global leader in the provision of end-to-end supply chain solutions in challenging environments around the world, has expanded its operations in Asia Pacific with its first contract win in Guam.
The Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA) has awarded Supreme Group the lease, maintenance, operation and management of the airport fuel system, which is owned by GIAA, at the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport. The airport fuel system consists of three 10,000 barrel jet fuel storage tanks and one 15,000 gallon tank for AV-gas; which currently supports eleven passenger airlines and three cargo airlines. The five year contract is expected to commence in June 2013.
Supreme Group has also recently opened a new office in Singapore, representing its first office in the Asia Pacific region and its seventh office worldwide. The company currently operates in 25 countries across five continents.
“Our new Singapore office enables us to be closer to our clients, partners and industry leaders within the region; particularly in line with the US Department of Defense’s strategic ‘rebalancing’ to the Asia Pacific region,” said Lieutenant General (Ret.) Robert T. Dail, Supreme Group’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). “We look forward to commencing work on the Guam contract and delivering the service excellence that we are renowned for. We plan to hire local management and staff in Guam to execute this project, as Supreme’s ‘local first’ approach means that we support the communities in which we operate by creating employment and development opportunities.”
