ALL-TAG, a leading manufacturer of anti-theft Security Tags, Security Labels, and People Counting Systems, announced that it will be showcasing “Green” methods for using security tags to decrease retail merchandise theft. The company will have a booth at the upcoming Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and National Retail Federation (NRF) Trade Shows exhibiting their EAS TAG Recirculation™ Model.

“Our EAS Tag Recirculation model requires retail apparel manufacturers to apply reusable security tags to the apparel before they send it to a retailer’s stores or distribution centers,” ALL-TAG Sales and Marketing Director Andy Gilbert explained in detail. “This method of retail merchandise tagging is referred to as Source-Tagging, and it is the most economical, efficient, and environmentally sound method for retail merchandise tagging.”

“The tags are removed from the merchandise at the point-of-sale, and collected and recovered by us,” continued Gilbert. “The tags are then sent to our processing center where they are inspected, repackaged and recirculated back to the apparel manufacturers for another round of Source-Tagging.”

ALL-TAG has teamed up with reverse logistics experts, TIC Group who annually recirculate 750 million hangers and EAS tags for retailers worldwide. The partnership between the two companies ensures that retailers get the highest quality sensor tags possible, as well as efficient and reliable logistics service.

While retailers are proud to use more environmentally friendly methods for tagging their merchandise, there are many other benefits associated with EAS Tag Recirculation. Stores that have used Recirculation have also found that the EAS tagging compliance has dramatically risen and losses have fallen since they started the program. Another great benefit of Recirculation is that clothing reaches the selling floor faster by avoiding the tagging time in the back room of the store or in the distribution center.

ALL-TAG will be at booth 214 at the RILA Loss Prevention conference, at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida on April 28th through May 1st. The company will also be at booth 802 at the NRF Loss Prevention conference, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California from June 12th through the 14th.
