Colorado State University-Global Campus (CSUGlobal.edu) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for its 2013-2014 scholarship programs. In addition to merit-based scholarships, CSU-Global will be offering new need-based Boundless Opportunity Scholarships through a grant provided by the Daniels Fund.
“As a public university, our focus is to ensure that we are providing a high quality education at an affordable cost; scholarships facilitate that process to assist students in accomplishing their ultimate goal of completing a degree,” said Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, CSU-Global’s President. “Our university mission is to serve adult learners in gaining the education, skills, and knowledge they need for their personal and professional success, and we are appreciate the generous donation of the Daniels Fund which supplements our own abilities in helping to ensure that success."
CSU-Global will award more than 45 scholarships in the 2013-2014 academic year during three award periods that coincide with the university’s Fall, Winter, and Spring trimesters. The university will provide merit-based scholarship awards that have diverse eligibility criteria including academic excellence, community outreach, military service, first generation college students, and parents/guardians. Undergraduate scholarship recipients will be awarded tuition for up to 12 credit hours, while graduate scholarship recipients receive up to six credit hours for each award period.
Additionally, CSU-Global is pleased to provide new Boundless Opportunity Scholarships made possible through a grant from the Daniels Fund. These need-based scholarships are designed to support non-traditional students who strive to create a better life for themselves and their families through education. The U.S. Military Active Duty/Veteran Bachelor's Degree Completion scholarship honors active duty U.S. Military personnel and honorably discharged veterans for their service and awards tuition for up to 12 undergraduate credit hours. CSU-Global will award up to 18 undergraduate credit hours divided over multiple recipients each trimester.
