Webfortis, LLC (http://www.webfortis.com) announces the launch of a series of live and online executive briefings that will showcase how state and local governments across the country comply with legal regulations and internal initiatives. This free live series is ideal for state and local agencies who are looking to reduce cost and improve their worker productivity particularly in the areas related to managing incoming data with citizen request management.

The first of these executive briefs will be held in Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The briefing will highlight how dozens of agencies across the country have complied with their State’s mandatory Public Records Acts and Federal Freedom of Information Act. Their real world solutions give transparency to constituents while complying with government regulations. The Bureaus of the Treasury that have used Public Records Tracker received an A rating from the Department of Justice.

The Executive Briefing highlights real world solutions to address record requests, 311 inquiries, Professional License Monitoring, and Grants Management. Featured speakers include Michael Shreiber, System Architect for solution deployments at State of California Governor’s office, California Department of Financial Institutions, Department of Corrections and Public Utilities Commission. "Transparency and Open Government are not just campaign buzz-words anymore. They have become a reality in the business of Government. The largest Federal Agencies down to the smallest municipalities are all subject to various Acts and Regulations; whether it is FOIA, PRA or a local ordinance,” said Michael. “We are pleased that our Public Records Tracker (PRT) has the flexibility to meet the needs of public agencies at all levels of government. PRT is used by the multiple city, county and state agencies in between to receive, track and process requests with greater efficiency.”

Cory Christoffel, Consultant for Adxstudio, a leading provider of web portal and application lifecycle management solutions, will also be demonstrating how to meet 311 initiatives. “We are very excited to have jurisdictions such as San Diego County, the City of Brampton, and the State of Florida integrate Adxstudio Portals for Microsoft Dynamics CRM into their citizen-facing activities, helping increase workflow efficiencies and enhance citizen satisfaction” said Mr. Christoffel “With new permits and licensing applications augmenting our already comprehensive 311 citizen services portal, we are confident that state and local governments will be armed with the tools they need for effective service workflows and robust information management.”
