'I now have my dream kitchen, and I can highly recommend Mark Smith and his team at the Kitchen,Tile and Bathroom Gallery'
Warwickshire (PRWEB UK) 20 April 2013
Family-run kitchen, bathroom and tile business, The Kitchen, Tile, & Bathroom Gallery (http://www.ktbgallery.co.uk) based in Alcester, near Stratford on Avon is proud to have one of its kitchen design and installation projects selected to feature in the UK’s leading kitchen magazine ‘Beautiful Kitchens.’
‘Beautiful Kitchens’ magazine loved the new look created for the Finneran family by the Kitchen, Tile & Bathroom Gallery’s kitchen designer, Mark Smith. The Finnerans live in a detached, thatched period cottage in Warwickshire and their previous kitchen was dark and dated, in much need of a complete kitchen makeover. Cath Finneran knew the look she wanted and chose a stunning Stoneham kitchen from their Tate Range. By coincidence, her sister had previously bought Cath a subscription to ‘Beautiful Kitchens’ magazine to help her research the look she wanted. ‘I now have my dream kitchen,’ comments Kath, ‘and I’m thrilled that it is featured in Beautiful Kitchens.’
Cath was recommended by a friend to the Kitchen, Tile & Bathroom Gallery and instantly struck up a rapport with designer Mark Smith, ‘Mark was incredibly patient throughout the whole process, and I was impressed with his ideas about where things should go.’ Cath wanted a feature round table at the heart of the kitchen as family meal times are very important to the family of five, plus Murphy, their black Labrador. Son Callum was diagnosed with diabetes as a baby and Cath explains, ‘We brought the children up to understand the importance of healthy eating and three good meals a day.’
Mark divided the room into three zones of food storage, cooking and food preparation, with one separate area that houses a Miele built-in coffee machine and microwave as a dedicated breakfast space. ‘With no central island I had to make sure Cath had everything she needed for a fully functional kitchen using three sides of the room.’
The Stoneham Kitchen oak cabinetry was spray painted in Light Blue which beautifully offsets the seamless worktop runs of Black Galaxy Mistral. Cath chose a Rangemaster Classic Duel-Fuel range cooker complete with overmantel and blue glass tiles. Mark recommended two pieces of technology which Cath loves using, a Quooker instant boiling water tap and a Fisher & Paykel Double Dish Drawer dishwasher that takes half loads of washing up.
The whole family enjoy spending time in their new kitchen, and is Cath is full of praise for Mark and the team at the Kitchen, Tile & Bathroom Gallery, ‘I have exactly the kitchen I wanted, and we all love it.’
