Eastwood was founded on a simple principle of offering quality products at affordable prices.
Pottstown, PA (PRWEB) April 18, 2013
The Eastwood Company, a pioneer in the DIY-auto restoration market, is celebrating its 35th anniversary. To kick off the celebration, Eastwood has launched an all new interactive website featuring hundreds of how-to videos, its new Shop Talk podcast hosted by Kevin Tetz, live-stream product demonstrations, free technical articles and much more. In addition to the new website, Eastwood’s retail store in Pottstown, PA is being re-launched with a grand re-opening celebration from April 19th – 28th. During the store re-opening, Eastwood is hosting free hands-on training classes covering topics such as welding and automotive refinishing. All visitors to the retail store who bring out their collector vehicle during the grand re-opening celebration will receive a free gift and exclusive discounts.
Founded in 1978, Eastwood was a pioneer in the DIY auto restoration hobby, making many tools and chemicals previously difficult for the home hobbyist to find more accessible. Through its many industry-first innovative products like Powder Coating and Media Blasters, Eastwood has helped DIY auto enthusiasts and professional shops restore, modify and customize their vehicles by offering the tools and supplies needed to “Do The Job Right.” Starting in the home garage, of founder Curt Strohacker, Eastwood is now a dynamic multi-channel company that continues to innovate new products and utilize technology to share its wealth of knowledge with visitors. “Eastwood was founded on a simple principle of offering quality products at affordable prices,” said Curt Strohacker, Eastwood Founder. “By sharing our knowledge of the hobby, we are able to educate others to help ensure their projects turn out great!”
In addition to sharing its knowledge with its visitors, Eastwood has also partnered up with local technical schools to assist with educating students that are pursuing careers in the automotive field. Students from the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center, in Limerick, PA, have toured the Eastwood facility with hands-on demonstrations of powder coating and metal fabrication tools. Eastwood employees have served as judges, for several activities, at the Western Center and instructors from the Western Center will be involved with the welding and auto refinishing classes at Eastwood’s grand re-opening event.
Eastwood markets unique tools and supplies for repair, restoration, and modification of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Founded in 1978, Eastwood constantly strives to develop new products to serve the home automotive hobbyist, as well as individuals and organizations focused on the restoration and preservation of automobiles and motorcycles.
