RateMyBabyNurse.com & RateMyDoula.com Now Part of MamaViews.

Now parents have a single place to go and find the help they are looking for,” says MamaViews CEO Melissa Lutzke. “Plus, now that we’ve combined to create MamaViews, we are better equipped to add more categories in the future.

RateMyBabyNurse.com and RateMyDoula.com, two review sites helping pregnant women and new mothers locate expert caregivers, have combined under the site MamaViews (http://www.MamaViews.com). Now expecting and new moms have a single destination to research and find the support they need, be it a doula or baby nurse.

MamaViews is the first national review website and consolidated directory with parent-generated feedback where moms and soon-to-be moms can find a baby nurse or doula. Users can easily search—for free—based on important criteria like trustworthiness, reliability and infant-care knowledge to find the person that is right for them. Prior to the launch of MamaViews, there were resources dedicated to helping parents find a nanny or babysitter, but virtually nothing existed with the purpose of helping them research and find a doula or baby nurse. Pregnant women had to rely solely on word of mouth or an agency with little input on who was sent to their home. MamaViews was created to fill this void.

Doulas and baby nurses also use MamaViews as a marketing tool; they can create a free profile and connect with parents who are actively looking for support. Typically doulas and baby nurses have had to rely on former clients recommending them to their network of friends—a passive way to find new clients. MamaViews helps baby nurses and doulas connect with women outside of these small networks while simultaneously leveraging the recommendations of past clients in their profiles.

“Now parents have a single place to go and find the help they are looking for,” says MamaViews CEO Melissa Lutzke. “Plus, now that we’ve combined to create MamaViews, we are better equipped to add more categories in the future so we can continue to meet the evolving needs of pregnant women and new moms.”

Since many first-time parents don’t know where to begin when looking for support, MamaViews also features a valuable resource center with answers to common questions, expert tips, interviewing help and more. MamaViews is the solution to finding extra support that expecting couples and stressed-out parents have been looking for.
