Sprout shares some of their most popular healthy products to support a good cause.

The March of Dimes in St. Cloud, MN hosted an April 13, 2013 event for one of their biggest fundraising efforts, The March for Babies. March for Babies is a day of remembrance to those who have lost babies in the NICU.

Although Sprout did not have an operator in the Saint Cloud area, they still wanted to help in any way possible and decided to do so by sharing their products. Some of Sprout’s most popular healthy snacks were donated to the event and were used in the kid’s play area as game prizes. The kids enjoyed being able to pick their own treats, and were introduced to nutritious snacks that taste good.

The mission of the March of Dimes is to provide an NICU family support professional within the St. Cloud Hospital to tend to families who have experienced traumatic births, like a loss in the NICU, a premature birth or any other sort of complication.

“We have families from the St. Cloud community come and have a day of laughs and tears surrounded by those who have experienced similar things. It is truly a very inspiring day and I hope that someday down the line Sprout Healthy Vending can be a bigger part of it,” says March for Dimes spokesperson, Kelsey Weisgram.

Sprout Healthy Vending is considered to be a “Social Wellness” business that benefits communities by providing the largest selection of name brand, natural and organic products-including healthy drinks, snacks, yogurts and smoothies. Menu plans are developed by licensed dieticians to ensure the products in the machines meet even the strictest National, State, and Local nutritional guidelines.

“We are really excited about Sprout’s mission for healthy vending machines, and would love to get others excited about it as well,” concludes Weisgram.
