The need for unified, secure metadata solutions for all mobile devices used by professionals will likely increase as more sophisticated tablets, with improved document editing capabilities, enter the market.

Litéra, a leading provider of content risk management solutions, announced today that it will present a free informational webinar recommending strategies and solutions for securing data in the mobile legal world. The event will be hosted on the website of the International Legal Technology Association on Friday, May 3 from 1-2 p.m. EST.

Norm Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer at Litéra, will present “Managing Metadata for Today’s Mobile Lawyer.” Thomas will demonstrate how the increased use of mobile devices and the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trend has introduced a number of new security concerns for legal IT, including the exposure of hidden data contained within business files and documents.

The one-hour presentation will focus on recent mobile device trends, their effect on content risk and how legal IT can best approach the situation to provide the most comprehensive and unified solution to the modern mobile lawyer.

Registration for the webinar can be completed here.
