Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 23, 2013
PanAm, the leader in government and higher education travel services, has been awarded the statewide contract for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts beginning March 1st of this year. The success of this effort comes after a competitive procurement process, where the State found the value, service, pricing and global reach of PanAm to be the perfect fit for the Commonwealth.
The award as the sole, statewide provider for travel services adds to PanAm's extensive government client roster that extends across the country and internationally. PanAm's newest office in Boston will serve the Commonwealth's travelers and provide Accounting, Client Services and Administrative support.
PanAm will be attending the MASSbuys Expo (@massbuys), on May 2, 2013, with training sessions held from 7am to 12noon that day to introduce state employees, agencies and departments to the new technology, human talent and cost savings opportunities now available to the State with the travel services contract.
Jordan Egbert, Managing Client Partner for PanAm stated, "This is a great partnership for the Commonwealth and PanAm. We are extremely excited to share our 'high tech, high touch' approach to travel services with Commonwealth travelers. The Commonwealth truly values these features and is eager to aggressively reduce any fraud, waste and redundancy in travel spending."
PanAm focuses in providing services to federal, state, higher education and academic environments -- using an aggressive city pair fare campaign to lower the cost of business travel for federal, state and local agencies. PanAm has refused to align with the traditional travel management community, but rather has created custom solutions, tailored travel spaces that look at cooperative and consortium practices to limit cost exposure while simultaneously enhancing customer service and technology solutions for its partners and clients.
"We are very pleased to welcome the Commonwealth to our exclusive list of partners," says Kyle McWhirter, the Chief Executive Officer for PanAm. "PanAm's commitment to being good stewards of government and taxpayer dollars and our commitment to transparency and accountability will undoubtedly be a perfect fit for Massachusetts," adds McWhirter, a former United States Naval Officer.
PanAm, providing full scope travel management and charter services, is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with eleven branch offices in the United States and two international locations in London and Berlin. PanAm is proud to serve the Commonwealth as a veteran-owned company.
