Barry Brandman, President of Danbee Investigations, Midland Park, NJ will be a featured speaker at the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) in Dallas April 28 – May 1, 2013 at the Sheraton Hotel.

Over 1100 attendees are expected to participate in the annual WERC Conference that will bring together key decision makers from all segments of the warehousing, distribution and logistics world, including manufacturers, wholesalers, 3PLs, government officials and retailers.

Brandman, an author of three security texts, has been a guest speaker for many organizations including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection.

His presentation is entitled, “Best Practices for Protecting Your Supply Chain in a High Risk World.”

“The Supply is being targeted by professional crime organizations and terrorist groups. Many security experts agree that it’s not a question if a major breach will occur, but when it will happen”, says Barry Brandman.

Mr. Brandman will discuss why securing the supply chain has become a more challenging task for logistics executives, how to mitigate risk, and how C-TPAT has impacted companies domestically and globally.
