Cygnis Media has been developing applications for giants such as the NFL, Cadbury Dairy Milk, IGN, Samsung, Toblerone and Wendy’s among many others. In order to further help their clients add value to their digital marketing efforts, Cygnis Media has taken all the lessons they have learned from the last 3 years & 150 applications they have built, and created FanCircuit, a proprietary tool for deeper tracking of custom metrics and user behavior within their applications.

Advancements in technology and social media platforms have led to an increase in demand for application developers that can help businesses engage their customers to improve retention rates, boost sales and/or increase brand awareness. Needless to say, the social media market has been booming. Cygnis Media has been on a roller-coaster ride since 2010 when Facebook became the dominant platform for digital marketing campaigns, and today it is coming up on completing 3 years in the business.

Since 2010, Cygnis Media has aligned itself and worked closely with some of the top marketing agencies in the world as a preferred digital partner. In a business where success depends solely on response from the audience, experience is crucial in order to understand the target market, the objectives of the application, and devise a strategy that will best bring everything together. But none of this matters if you can’t track the success metrics. This often proved to be tricky due to the customized nature of the apps being built. The simple off-the-shelf analytics plugins were simply not doing the job. This is why the need was felt to create a custom-built tracking tool in order to achieve live real-time tracking.

The obsession with which Cygnis Media designs and develops the user experience is evident in the final product and has been recognized through numerous awards over the last few years. It has been listed among the Top 15 web developers in the world in Biz Journal’s 2012 recap, honored with an awwward and featured on CSSWinner among other distinctions received last year.

Its a fast-paced world today, thanks to mobile internet and touchscreen smartphones. Businesses around the world are taking this advancement as an opportunity and using apps to tap into their customers on the go. One of their clients, IGN, wanted to promote the movie “Parker” (starring Jason Stathom and Jennifer Lopez) with a bang. Cygnis Media developed a Facebook application based around the Parker motto: to get away clean, you have to play dirty! To create hype, the application let fans get involved in the movie by allowing them to play dirty for real and enter a sweepstakes to win hard, cold cash. That wasn’t all: after submitting their information, fans could watch an exclusive Parker trailer available only through the app.

In just over 60 days, nearly half a million people had interacted with the app and over a hundred thousand had watched the trailer! All of this information along with incredible details regarding user behavior were recorded by FanCircuit available in real-time. The IGN Parker app is just one of many success stories that Cygnis Media has had the pleasure of being involved in over these 3 years.

Currently, FanCircuit comes packaged with every app that Cygnis Media creates, and is only available to their clients. With a growing market, an expanding team and incredible new web technologies coming out every day, we can expect even more creative digital solutions and engaging apps from Cygnis Media in the years to come.
