PHS Group is set to move to the forefront of digital document management following its recent acquisition of scanning and data capture services experts, Capital Capture Ltd.
As one of the leaders in its industry, PHS Records Management, a member of the PHS Group, has already established itself as a specialist in document management, document scanning services, offsite data storage and data disposal. The addition of CCL’s capabilities enables PHS Records Management to offer full document lifecycle management to its customers, be that in paper or digital format. The new technologies will allow an improved distribution of information throughout client businesses, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, whilst observing relevant legislation.
CCL was founded in 1998 by Mark Kirpalani and Mick Johnson who, together with a 125-strong team located at sites in London and Warrington, will provide a wealth of knowledge of scanning procedures and data capture equipment and processes as part of PHS Records Management.
“We are delighted to be sharing our skills with PHS Records Management,” says Mark Kirpalani. “The whole team is looking forward to being part of its future successes as a customer-driven, progressive company.”
PHS Records Management customers will also benefit from CCL’s technological knowhow and equipment as it moves towards the provision of a range of new services, such as digital mailroom functions and forms processing.
As an authorised platinum reseller of Kofax, the industry’s leading provider of document capture software, CCL has been able to build strong relationships with many blue chip companies throughout the insurance, finance, banking, retail and legal sectors. Its first-rate connections with the most respected manufacturers of scanning hardware has placed CCL in an excellent position to offer unrivalled technical and maintenance support for customers’ on-site equipment.
Anthony Pearlgood, PHS Records Management’s Managing Director, is very enthusiastic about the new opportunities that this most recent acquisition brings to the table. “As well as expanding the services available to our existing clients, the integration of CCL into our business opens up entirely new markets to us,” says Anthony. “With these additional data capture facilities we are looking forward to the provision of new services for our clients as we also welcome new customers who are seeking a comprehensive data management and workflow solution.
“It’s exciting times for PHS Records Management and, thanks to the CCL technology we can offer our customers true ‘cradle to grave’ records management digitally and in hard copy with our secure document storage and shredding facilities”
