Music has always been a big part of my life.
(PRWEB UK) 23 April 2013
Local mum and musician, Clare Mill, is now embarking on her perfect, life-changing career that combines her love of music with working with children. Clare is taking over Rhythm Time’s fun and educational music classes for local babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in the Salisbury area.
The music sessions have been written by a music teacher and specifically designed to help with development and learning, starting with stimulating baby classes and leading to exciting toddler and educational pre-school sessions.
Clare and her teacher, Ruth, will be providing the educational music classes to local children aged five and under across Salisbury, Andover and the New Forest.
“Music has always been a big part of my life from a young age,” quotes Clare. “I learnt to play the flute and piano as a child and played in various orchestras as well as singing in choirs. I went on to study music at university and then worked in an administrative role in the music industry,” she adds.
“I took my older son to a Rhythm Time toddler class in 2012 and we both really enjoyed it. Even in a short space of time, I could see how he developed from the classes, particularly gaining confidence in doing the rhythm patterns into the microphone! When my second son was born, he attended the baby classes from one week old. I can really see the benefits of attending a Rhythm Time class – this is why I’ve made this wonderful career move that combines my love of music and working with children,” she adds.
A free taster session is available to children who haven’t experienced Rhythm Time before.

Clare attended Rhythm Time classes with her young sons and found the experience highly enjoyable and rewarding.
Having studied music and worked in the music industry for years, she decided to combine her musical talents and her love of children by embarking on this new career, which fits around her family commitments. Clare has now bought the Rhythm Time franchise for the Salisbury, Andover and New Forest area.
Rhythm Time was started in the Midlands in 1995 by Kathy Doolan who is a firm believer in the power and importance of music for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Kathy is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and set up Rhythm Time after having her own children.
Rhythm Time now has franchises all over the UK, operating in 300 venues with approximately 9500 children attending classes weekly.
Rhythm Time offers three age-appropriate classes for babies (birth to 15 months), toddlers (15 months to three years) and pre-school (three to school age). Children enjoy a wonderful introduction to music and all classes are in line with the Early Learning Goals and Key Stage 1.
