Slidin' Dirty Food Truck and Catering, the Capital Region's first gourmet food truck, is gearing up for the spring and summer seasons with a new look, new menu, and an exciting docket of events on the horizon. Slidin' Dirty's owners hope to see more food trucks come to the Capital Region.

The winter blues are no match for New York Capital Region's first gourmet food truck, Slidin' Dirty. Passing their one year anniversary on March 17, owners Tim and Brooke Taney are gearing up for an exciting spring and summer season with a new look, new schedule, and a new gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly menu.

According to Tim Taney, tried and true fans need not worry: "We've taken our most popular items from last year and have created a concise, easy-to-understand menu with lots of ways to customize for dietary restrictions. We've even started sourcing our bread from a fantastic local bakery, All Good Bakers on Delaware Avenue in Albany." Fans of variety are also in luck - Slidin' Dirty will feature a special slider of the day to mix up their standard menu.

And while Capital Region foodies will still spot the same orange truck featuring the Albany skyline, they'll find a new logo and website displaying information about Slidin' Dirty's catering services, daily schedule, and featured slider of the day. Brooke Taney will still be active on social media, interacting with fans on a daily basis.

Tim and Brooke are looking forward to getting feedback from local foodies at the Food Truck Festival in Troy NY's River Front Park on May 4, 2013 from noon to 7 p.m. They'll be joined by 11 other food trucks from the Capital Region to celebrate the emerging food truck culture.

"We're excited to be at the forefront of the food truck movement here," said Brooke. "We love the Capital Region. The food scene here is fantastic, and we hope more food trucks will only help to make it even better!"
