Anxiety can cripple a person’s life and hypnotherapy can be a fresh and unique approach to solving fear.

According to research by The London Psychiatry Centre, 77 percent of Britons value or highly value their mental health, yet only 40 percent would consult their doctor if their condition started to impact their everyday life. The research, which surveyed over 1,000 people both men and women found surprising results. Whilst the majority of respondents were concerned with their mental health and its condition, a significant level were not concerned with visiting a doctor to discuss if any problems arose with it.

There are many aspects to mental health and the conditions associated with it, whilst some may require assistance from medically trained personnel, other less serious conditions can be aided by hypnotherapy. Mental health issues such as anxiety can be helped by a hypnotherapist who will aim to tackle the root of the anxiety and teach the client specific exercises to relieve symptoms.

The National Council for Hypnotherapy is the UK’s most established hypnotherapy directory offering contact details and information about thousands of hypnotherapists and their specialities throughout Great Britain. To date, the Council has helped thousands of clients fight anxiety as a spokesperson from the organisation explained, ‘Mental health is an issue that needs to be taken seriously and worked towards helping the client in the best possible way. Anxiety can cripple a person’s life and hypnotherapy can be a fresh and unique approach to solving fear.’
