It was hard work, but it was well worth it. It’s incredible what a team of people can accomplish when working together.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 24, 2013
Fire Protection Engineering firm, Harrington Group, Inc., is proud of two employees, Susan Kneeland and Diane Stone, for teaming up with Georgia Pacific to begin the building process of a home with Habitat for Humanity. The Habitat for Humanity organization has helped to build or repair over 600,000 houses and has served more than three million people around the world.
Ms. Kneeland and Ms. Stone spent last Saturday nailing down floorboards and raising walls to help an Atlanta woman fulfill a dream of owning a home where she can raise her two small children. “In just one day to watch a foundation form into the framework of a home was an amazing experience,” Ms. Stone said, “It was hard work, but it was well worth it. It’s incredible what a team of people can accomplish when working together. I was so humbled at the end of the day when the young lady came and gave us hugs and told us how much she appreciates everything that we did for her and her family that day.”
