Rockford, IL (PRWEB) April 23, 2013
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White and the Rock River Valley Life Goes On committee are hosting a ceremony to dedicate a tree and plaque in memory of Vikki Tulcus and others who have died waiting for a matching organ donor. Vikki worked for the IL Secretary of State’s Organ Donor Program but sadly lost her own life waiting for a kidney. She was featured in several TV and radio campaigns. Her colleagues and former boss, IL Secretary of State, Jesse White are honoring her on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the Ethnic Heritage Museum, 1129 South Main Street, Rockford, Illinois 61101.
A reception hosted by the Ethnic Heritage Museum’s Polish Gallery honoring Vikki's heritage will immediately follow the ceremony.
