Flurry, a leading mobile app measurement and advertising platform, today announced that Prashant Fuloria has joined the company as Chief Product Officer, reporting to Simon Khalaf, Flurry President and CEO. Joining from the Mayfield Fund, Fuloria brings a decade of product management experience spanning Google and Facebook. Fuloria will take primary responsibility for innovation and evolution of all Flurry solutions, effective immediately.

Prior to Flurry, Fuloria was an Executive in Residence at Mayfield Fund and lecturer at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Fuloria brings a decade of product management experience from Facebook and Google. At Facebook, Fuloria led the product team for Facebook Ads and subsequently managed commerce products, including Facebook Credits. At Google, he managed all of Google’s products for the Asia-Pacific region, led its global billing & payments product efforts, and served as an early member of the AdWords product team.

Fuloria holds a PhD and MA in Business, a PhD Minor in Operations Research and an MS in Statistics, all from Stanford University, where he is also a lecturer in Operations, Information and Technology at the Graduate School of Business. Before joining Stanford, Fuloria studied at IIT Delhi, where he was awarded the President’s Gold Medal, which is the highest academic award. Fuloria is also an accomplished musician and lead guitarist of Coverflow, a Silicon Valley band, and used to play with Euphoria, India’s top-selling rock band.
