Decades of Sales and Consulting Expertise will Fuel Company’s Ambitious Business Strategy

Joining the company are: Kerry Waltrip, senior vice president of Sales; Kim Steeley, vice president of Sales Management; Sunny Sangha, vice president and general manager of Alliances and Business Development; and Sumeet Bhatia, vice president of Solution Consulting. These additions collectively bring more than 80 years of experience to a seasoned sales force at Edifecs. The healthcare IT company is on an aggressive growth path to expand its solutions for healthcare reform and risk management, and establish further its leadership in the health IT market.

  • Kerry Waltrip comes to Edifecs with more than 22 years of healthcare IT sales and sales management experience, having most recently served as the senior vice president of Sales for M*Modal. Previously, as the senior vice president of Sales for the Management Decision Support organization at Thomson Reuters, Kerry managed a national sales team and was a member of the Executive Committee, overseeing all sales functions, from new solution rollouts to contract negotiations. After assisting in the integration of SoftMed Systems into 3M Health Information Systems during the two companies’ merger in 2007, Kerry continued at 3M, driving health information automation services into international markets, where he trained and supported the local staff through all levels of a sale.
  • Kim Steeley brings 25 years of progressive sales operations leadership to Edifecs. She was most recently at Truven Health Analytics (the former healthcare business of Thomson Reuters), where she served as vice president of Sales Operations. In that role, Kim developed and managed processes to monitor projections and achieve revenue goals, drive campaign effectiveness and secure competitive intelligence. She was previously at Solucient, LLC, where she improved the account renewal rate by 14 percent in one year and increased the customer satisfaction rating by 11 percent in two years.
  • Sunny Sangha is an accomplished senior executive with 20 years of sales and marketing experience in business development, market development and product distribution through channel partners. Prior to joining Edifecs, Sunny held executive level positions at Apple, Information Builders, Lockheed Martin and DataMirror Corporation, where he established more than 200 strategic partnerships with SIs, ISVs, OEM/VARs and strategic accounts. His efforts contributed to significant revenue growth, product expansion, brand awareness and service delivery.
  • Sumeet Bhatia brings more than 17 years in solution consulting, technical sales management, enterprise architecture and strategy to Edifecs. He was previously at Software AG, where he held multiple positions, including senior director of Presales and chief architect for North America. While at Software AG, Sumeet established and managed the Enterprise Architecture Office to drive revenue from strategic initiatives and industry-focused solutions. He also managed the Service Oriented Architecture Competency Center, providing methodologies and best practices for successful SOA adoption by Fortune 500 companies.
