Turkish uranium explorer and ASX listed Anatolia Energy Limited (“Anatolia”) (ASX:AEK) is pleased to announce that shareholders of its joint venture partner Vetter Uranium Limited (“Vetter”) have approved the Merger Implementation Agreement at Vetter’s General Meeting held today.

On 5 April 2013, Anatolia announced that it intended to acquire, subject to Vetter shareholder approval, 100% of the Temrezli Uranium Project in Turkey by merging its wholly owned subsidiary Anatolia Uranium (BVI) Limited (“AUBVI”) and Vetter (both incorporated in BVI) with AUBVI to become the surviving company.

Implementing the merger now remains subject only to BVI regulatory approval, which is expected to occur before the end of April 2013.
