According to Econsultancy, cost per click on smartphones in the United States are 46 percent cheaper than on desktop. Prices in quarter one were $0.30 on smartphone and $0.56 on desktop highlighting the fact that it is still relatively cheap for businesses to target potential customers through mobile search. The study also compared these prices to the United Kingdom were desktop and tablet cost per click in quarter one were identical at £0.30 and smartphones were £0.20 on average.
