Manufacturer of wire termination connectors for automotive, appliance and medical device industries announces industry high 95% average quarterly customer satisfaction rating

We are constantly looking at ways of improving our manufacturing methods to provide better products and services to our end customers.

ETCO Incorporated today released its customer satisfaction rating among suppliers from various industries. The company scored an industry high of 95% in terms of part quality, lead time and delivery. ETCO’s high rating is unusual for the wire termination connection industry because it services such a varied group of suppliers. The suppliers range from second and first tier manufacturers in the automotive industry to appliance and medical device industries.

The ratings were taken as an average from different response scorecards with individual metrics including response to problem cases, packaging problems, quality certifications, part quality, lead time, delivery and customer impacts. In terms of custom manufacturing, ETCO consistently received ratings of 99% or better in multiple instances. The ratings period covered all products shipped between the dates of January 1, 2013 and March 31, 2013. During that time, ETCO conformed to all shipping and product quality standards set forth by manufacturers.

In the most recent 4 quarters spanning 2012 to 2013, ETCO has consistently scored at 95% or better as a supplier to major manufacturers in the appliance, automotive and medical device industries. ETCO’s quality stems from Philip Crosby’s 4 Absolutes:
1.    Quality is defined as conformance to requirements
2.    The system for improving quality is prevention
3.    The performance standard is zero defects
4.    The measurement of quality is the price of nonconformance

Fred Coyle, ETCO’s Florida Director of Quality states, “This rating is a testament to our ability to provide value and high quality products in a reasonable time frame to our customers.” He continues, “We are constantly looking at ways of improving our manufacturing methods to provide better products and services to our end customers.”
