The team at Littman Bros Lighting was able to attend last year’s LFI in Las Vegas, and saw more than 20,000 industry professionals as well as just about 200,000 square feet of exhibits showcasing the newest and top selling products from the world’s leading manufacturers. This year, LFI has absolutely grown to expect more than 23,000 industry professionals with 500 manufacturers showcasing their products.

According to a recent press release from, LFI will have new additions to the show floor, changes to the conference program as well as new events scheduled; these additions include the expansion in “Hall F” of the Pennsylvania Convention Center that will host exhibitors that will “illuminate(s) the future of new lighting technologies.” Hall F is becoming known as “THE destination for new products.”

The expansion brings together extensive new product resources, bringing more exhibitors with new products and innovations for 2013; new products including Tech Lighting and the Biza linear suspension, an LED lighting innovation that blends complexity with beauty and according to, this line of linear pendants “[are] composed of clear injection molded plastic inserts which add remarkable depth and illusion when viewed from below.” The Biza Linear Suspension has 40 watts of field-replaceable LED strips making the fixtures applicable to many different residential and commercial environments.

Also on the exhibitor list is Access Lighting, expected to display its newest designs in LEDs, fluorescent lamps and decorative sconces, chandeliers, pendants and more. Other exhibitors include AFX Lighting, Feit Electric, Recesso Lighting, Nuvo Lighting, Royal Pacific and much more.

With all these incredible manufacturers exhibiting the newest lines of lighting innovations, it seems only appropriate that LFI continues the Innovation Awards, which honors the latest lighting-related products and designs established in the past 12 months. Winners will be announced April 23.

Along with the expansion come additions to the already impressive LIGHTFAIR Institute and Conference program, which offers in-depth courses on selected topics that are centered on specific matters within lighting.
