Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta Securities Litigation Practice Named the 2013 “Georgia Litigation Department of the Year” by American Lawyer Media

The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced today that its Atlanta Securities Litigation Practice has been named the 2013 “Georgia Litigation Department of the Year” in the Specialty Practice Category for Securities Litigation by American Lawyer Media’s affiliate, the Daily Report.

Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta Securities Litigation Practice was given the top designation based on evaluation of a number of factors submitted, including litigation results - both at trial and on appeal- significance of matters handled, client references and scope and depth of overall practice.

The Atlanta Securities Litigation Practice, led by Terry Weiss, handles trial-oriented and often complex legal disputes on behalf of financial institutions, and most notably, securities firms. Terry and his team represent securities firms and securities industry professionals in the defense of investor litigation and arbitrations, class action litigation and enforcement matters brought by securities industry regulators.
