We have found that most patients have very positive experiences with their hearing healthcare providers and enjoy the opportunity to share their personal stories.

Healthy Hearing, a website dedicated to providing consumer education involving all spectrums of audiology and hearing loss, also presents users with real, unbiased reviews of hearing clinics from real patients.
With more than 4,700 hearing clinics included in a comprehensive list, Healthy Hearing boasts the largest directory of independent clinics available on the Internet. Healthy Hearing has nearly 4,000 reviews already appearing on the website and continues to add more daily.
Healthy Hearing has been offering up real patient clinic reviews for the last year; now, patients can rank their clinic experiences on a scale of one to five, with one star indicating a poor experience and five stars an excellent one.
"Healthy Hearing is pleased to offer clinic reviews and ratings in order to help individuals select the professional that best fits their needs,” said Mandy Mroz, AuD, director of Healthy Hearing. “Each clinic review offers unique insight into the patient experience at that particular hearing center.”
Submitting a review is an easy and flexible process and may be completed through the mail, telephone or online. Once a review has been received it is screened for spelling and grammar, and identifying patient information is edited out before each review added to the website.
Healthy Hearing also checks to make sure the comments are genuine, free from derogatory or discriminatory content and not promotional in nature. In short, they try to provide original patient experiences.
According to the Pew Research Center’s website as of February 2013, eight out of 10 adult internet users look for health information online, including information about specific health conditions, treatments and healthcare providers.
Visiting Healthy Hearing provides users with the ability to research more information about multiple clinics in the area before making a visit to the office. And now, with the star-rating system in place, users will be able to get an at-a-glance view of what real patients think about hearing clinics in their area.
“The clinic review and rating system also allows patients to share their experiences with others after their visit,” Dr. Mroz said. “We have found that most patients have very positive experiences with their hearing healthcare providers and enjoy the opportunity to share their personal stories."
After researching and reading reviews of the clinics in the area, users will find the information needed to make an appointment with an audiologist.
