On April 29, Scott Brodsky, CEO of Empire Digital Products, a leading copier company, praises the Young Entrepreneurs Across America program and its mission to guide the country’s next generation of entrepreneurs.

The program, called Young Entrepreneurs Across America, helps young people learn the ins and outs of running a business. College students run their own painting companies and hire other students for their crews. Nineteen-year-old College of Charleston business student Patrick Gardiner never imagined running his own painting business as a college freshman.

The company he has been running is called Myrtle Beach Painters. They specialize in hand-painted exterior projects in addition to power washing and deck staining. According to an article published on MyHorryNews.com, “Gardiner and his crew will be trained in the art of painting through the Sherwin Williams Company before they actually start working for customers.”

After his acceptance to the program, Gardiner went through additional extensive training in marketing for his business, figuring out job estimates and managing a crew.
