Midland, MI – Allis Information Management (AIM), a Midland, MI-based competitive intelligence firm, will share time and knowledge at the nation’s leading conference for competitive intelligence professionals. AIM will continue its strong relationship with SCIP through its active presence at the Annual Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) International Conference & Exhibition, to be held May 6-9 in Orlando, FL. In addition to exhibiting at the conference, AIM will extend its presence through an already sold-out session on competitive opportunity intelligence facilitated by Director of Strategic Intelligence Matthew O’Connor.

AIM has a longstanding and mutually beneficial relationship with SCIP: AIM has participated in the SCIP annual conference for over 15 years, and has been instrumental in creating and providing leadership for SCIP’s Michigan chapter. “We’re happy to support SCIP and pleased to have the opportunity to share our expertise with other competitive intelligence practitioners,” said Sue LaBonville, President of AIM. “We have a diverse client base with a wide range of requests, and we feel it’s important to share the knowledge we’ve gained from that work to help contribute to the continuing growth of our profession.”

AIM will also share knowledge through O’Connor’s session, “Leveraging Competitive Opportunity Intelligence: Using Proven CI Techniques to Discover Opportunities and Enhance Growth Initiatives.” The discussion will use the new business development cycle as a framework to demonstrate how traditionally competitor-focused research and analysis techniques can be seamlessly translated to support sales- and marketing-related initiatives, drawing on AIM’s 30-plus years of experience with these techniques across a wide variety of clients and industries.
