The DUL 20 is the brains of the Ericsson LTE eNodeB. Its compact size of 1/2 U height allows for up to four DULs to be deployed within a standard RBS6201 cabinet.

The DUL 20 can support up to 2,000 connected users and up to six RF units.

EJL Wireless Research is announcing a new report within its proprietary DNA-I series, an Ericsson LTE DUL 20 01 unit.

“This is our first look at a DUL unit from the RBS6000 platform and its role as the LTE digital baseband unit. The DUL is an integral part of the RBS610x/620x/6301/6601 base station platforms and the DUL20 version is the standard version for LTE eNodeBs within Ericsson's portfolio, supporting up to 2,000 connected users and a maximum downlink sustained throughput of 175 Mbps,” said founder and President, Earl Lum.

EJL Wireless Research continues to lead the wireless market research segment with innovative and cutting edge research such as its DNA-I series of products.

“We continue to be excited in having the opportunity to showcase the latest generation remote radio units, RF transceiver modules, BTS antennas, femtocells, digital baseband units and base stations from major wireless equipment OEMs as part of our DNA-I program,” says Lum.

The following semiconductor & passive component suppliers are included in this report: Analog Devices, Broadcom, Ericsson, Fairchild Semiconductor, Infineon Technologies, Integrated Device Technology, Kemet, Lattice Semiconductor, Maxim Integrated Products, Micron Technology, Nichicon, Nihon Denpa Kogyo, NXP Semiconductors, ON Semiconductor, Pulse Engineering, Rakon, Sanyo Electric, STMicroelectronics, TDK-Epcos, Texas Instruments, Vishay Semiconductors.
