Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) April 24, 2013
The SAE International Noise and Vibration Conference and Exhibition is the only dedicated mobility noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) event in North America. The 2013 event will be held May 20-23 in Grand Rapids, Mich., at the DeVos Place Convention Center.
Held biennially, this conference brings together leading professionals from around the world to learn about, present and display the latest technologies surrounding NVH and sound quality issues related to design, engineering and testing.
- In addition to this year’s keynote speakers, Bernard Challen and Alexandre Nunes, the event also will host an array of technical sessions, put participants in touch with professionals in the field through “Chat with the Experts” and even provide hands-on learning experiences at the “Sound Sense – Noise Control Materials and Technologies” Science Fair.
- This conference also is introducing convenient and informative evening workshops, allowing attendees to continue learning even after typical conference hours. These evening workshops include:
o Acoustical Materials Workshop
o SEA Workshop: Mid-Frequency Models
o Sound Quality Workshop – sponsored by HEAD acoustics
o Structure Borne NVH Workshop – sponsored by ALTAIR
o The History and Future of Fourier Analysis Workshop
