Kure Pain Management Expands Services for Workers Compensation & Auto Accident Patients

Kure Pain Management has assembled a direct line to assist patients and their attorneys with workers’ compensation and insured auto accident cases. Kure Pain Management is one of the first pain management groups in Maryland to cater toward this type of patient, offering a full range of services including injury evaluations, pain management treatments, physical therapy and claims handling support.

Kure Pain Management now has a special phone number devoted to workers’ compensation and insured auto accident patients, where patients and attorneys can reach a trained representative to assist with scheduling, medical records, bills and billing questions.

“The need for this department was evident by the number of patients and attorneys who came to us because they or their clients had been turned away by other doctors. Or, because they were simply unsatisfied with their current treatment plan,” says Margaret Rose Evans, director of Marketing and Sales for Kure Pain Management. “Additionally, it can be a challenge for patients to get their medical records and billing quickly. We are hoping this direct ‘legal liaison’ line will make it easier for patients and attorneys to get appointments and the documentation they need.”

Evans notes that finding a doctor in Maryland who accepts workers’ compensation can also be a challenge. Kure Pain Management accepts all workers’ compensation appointments. For auto accident injuries, Kure Pain accepts insured claims, meaning one of the parties involved has insurance benefits.

“When someone is injured on the job or injured in a car accident, their biggest priorities are getting back to ‘normal’ and avoiding expensive medical bills,” says Evans. “Our doctors get patients back to their daily lives quickly with effective treatments.”

Kure Pain Management has one of the most highly qualified teams of pain management experts in the mid-Atlantic region. The new department adds to this expertise, helping patients who are in pain access critical pain management services. Kure Pain is also one of the region’s largest pain management group practices with eight locations throughout Maryland including Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Waldorf, Leonardtown and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

The direct line for workers’ compensation and insured auto accident appointments is 443.270.4321. Visit Kure Pain Management at http://www.kurepain.com for more information.
