Apex Insight carried out commercial due diligence to support MeetingZone in its acquisition of Atia Communications to expand its Unified Communications portfolio of services – its third acquisition in 18 months.
MeetingZone is a leading global independent audio and web conferencing and collaboration service provider operating in the UK, Germany and North America. It is backed by UK-based private equity firm, GMT Communications Partners. Atia Communications is a leading provider of Unified Communications services in the UK and a Microsoft Lync accredited specialist.
The commercial due diligence work included a detailed assessment of the market opportunity, validation of the business’ sales model and a customer referencing programme. The work was led by Vincent Schuller.
The work included interviews with a range of Atia’s customers, technology partner and channel partners. These discussions revealed that the business is a highly respected UK provider of Unified Communications solutions.
