Hanley Wood LLC, the premier media, event, information and strategic marketing services company serving the residential, commercial design and construction industries, announced the hiring of Tom Rousseau as Executive Vice President of Strategic Marketing Services. Rousseau will focus on the selling of Hanley Wood’s suite of digital services, including content marketing, demand generation, sales enablement and channel loyalty programs. Concurrent with this hire, Jennifer Pearce has been promoted to the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing Services and Consumer Media. In Pearce’s new role, she will be responsible for leveraging Hanley Wood’s digital and interactive services to generate customer value.
Peter Goldstone, CEO of Hanley Wood, has been leading the company through a digital transformation to include their editorial, interactive, sales and marketing organizations. Goldstone emphasized the importance of the Strategic Marketing Services group, stating that “this new group is a major growth engine and an important element of our customer first go-to-market strategy.”
Rousseau comes to Hanley Wood from IDG where he was Vice President of Alliance Marketing. He is a 25-year veteran of the B2B and B2C marketplaces and has been driving revenue and strategy around marketing services.
Dave Colford, Chief Customer Officer is leading the evolution of Hanley Wood’s sales strategy. “We are aligning our resources with the wants and needs of our customers. We anticipate acceleration in trend lines toward digital media and custom marketing. We need to bring to market a portfolio that solves our customer’s complex business challenges.”
To further support this new core engine of the organization, Hanley Wood has promoted Lane Edwards to Integrated Program Manager. Edwards’s key role is to manage the delivery of all customer solutions.
