It’s all about denim for Silver Hotel Group in May, as they support the CURE Foundation by celebrating National Denim Day on May 14th, and all month long, with the “Denim for the CURE” campaign! Silver Hotel Group and their participating hotels across the country have partnered up with Bluenotes Jeans to raise funds towards a breast cancer cure through creative denim inspired events, contests, promotions and donations.
The CURE Foundation initiated National Denim Day in 1997. The Foundation wanted to reach out to the grass roots population of Canada and make them aware that they could also be an important part of the quest for a breast cancer cure. National Denim Day was chosen as the CURE Foundation’s fundraising event because jeans are universal attire, worn by Canadians regardless of their social economic status.
Travelers across Canada can participate in this breast cancer support campaign simply by staying at one of the hotels.
All participating hotels are offering a “Denim for the CURE” Package for the month of May, where guests can fight breast cancer while enjoying an overnight stay at their hotel of choice including full American breakfast, and then head out shopping with a $25 gift card at Bluenotes Jeans…and Silver Hotel Group will support the CURE Foundation with a $5 donation from every package sold.
On May 14th, all hotels will also:
donate $1 for all new Facebook Fans on the Facebook site of any of the participating hotels
donate $1 for all Facebook Fans that post a picture of themselves in their favourite pair of jeans donate $1 for all guests that check in wearing their denims
Donation match all guest breast cancer donations made at the hotels
