Willoughby Design, Inc., a leading global brand strategy and design firm based in Kansas City, Mo., today announced three key executive promotions.
The changes will position the 35 year-old woman-owned firm for future growth. Effective immediately, Megan Stephens has been promoted to President & Partner and Zack Shubkagel is now Creative Director and Partner. Ann Willoughby will assume the title Founder and Chief Creative Officer
Megan Stephens has been named President & Partner.
Megan served as Principal for the last five years. She will continue to lead day-to-day management of the company and strategic oversight of the work. In addition, she will guide new business. Megan is currently serving on the Steering Committee for win|win, Kansas City's organization focused on increasing the percentage of women on boards and in the C-suite. Zack Shubkagel has been named Creative Director & Partner.
Zack served as Principal for the last five years. In his new role Zack will continue to oversee creative development. He will also be relocating to San Francisco, Calif., to manage west coast growth. Ann Willoughby has been named Founder & Chief Creative Officer.
Having founded Willoughby in 1978, Ann has served as President and Chief Creative Officer. She will remain a partner in the business and continue to guide the agency, overseeing culture, vision and creative. Ann will continue in her leadership roles within the national design community, AIGA, and her role as the Joyce C. Hall Distinguished Professor of Design at the Kansas City Art Institute.
