On April 30th and May 1st, CSUN's Theatre Guild presents David Gerrold's ‘Uncle Daddy Will Not Be Invited’ at CSUN - Cal State Northridge.

Award-winning author, David Gerrold, will be previewing his new play, ‘Uncle Daddy Will Not Be Invited’ at Cal State Northridge on Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1. The play is a production of CSUN’s Theatre Guild and stars Alex Manolopoulos and Steven Brogan as Michael and Jamie, two young men planning their wedding and discovering that there is more to building a relationship than “a big silly cake.”

An alumnus of CSUN, Gerrold began his writing career writing “The Trouble With Tribbles” episode for the original Star Trek TV series. He has written more than fifty books as well as multiple episodes of a dozen different TV series including Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside, Land of the Lost, and more. His autobiographical memoir, The Martian Child was the basis of the 2007 film starring John Cusack and Amanda Peet.

‘Uncle Daddy Will Not Be Invited’ is a workshop preview, two nights only. Gerrold describes it as “Sexy and brutal, funny and uncompromising. Bring seatbelts and Kleenex.” Tickets are available from Ticketmaster (818-677-2488).
