Homeowners in West Palm Beach and nearby communities already are responding to recent marketing efforts by Venetian Builders, Inc., Miami, to increase sunroom, patio cover and screen pool enclosure sales in the area. Venetian Builders’ 2013 sales of design and installation work have increased more than 150 percent over all South Florida markets, Venetian President Christopher Noe said, due partly to its sales through 41 Home Depot stores.

Venetian Builders, Inc. of Miami is stepping up its marketing of sunroom, patio cover and screened enclosure design and installation services in West Palm Beach ad nearby, President Christopher Noe said today, adding that results already are positive.

Noe attributes much of the increase to Venetian’s presence in 41 Home Depot retail stores. In 2013, Venetian added sales displays to two Home Depot stores in Lake Worth, and to two others in Delray Beach. Venetian also has displays in the Boynton Beach, Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach Home Depots.

Venetian serves all of West Palm Beach, including: Villages of Palm Beach Lakes, North Palm Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Royal Palm Beach, Golden Lakes, Palm Springs, Lake Park, and Riviera Beach.

Overall 2013 Venetian sales are up more than 150 percent across all its South Florida markets, Noe said. That performance follows 2012 sales that had increased 85 percent over 2011. Prime markets for the company include Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Pembroke, Miami Gardens, Homestead, Deerfield Beach, Cooper City, Weston, Hollywood, Boynton Beach and the Keys.

“It’s important that someone who wants a West Palm Beach sunroom can envision what we have to offer,” he said. “Retail customers can experience custom-made displays of Venetian building materials and design elements in associated Home Depot stores. The level of detail in our displays has paid off.”

Venetian Builders also continues to sell directly to customers who call its offices.

Potential customers who call Venetian or contact the company through Home Depot can arrange for an in-home, no-cost consultation.

“We’ve had to increase the number of people who respond to customer queries,” Noe said. “We’ve also increased our estimating staff and crews. We have plans for a bigger warehouse and fabrication center. That’s how busy we’ve been.”

A request for sunroom or patio cover information results in a Venetian in-home consultation, which is not a typical sales call.

“We bring an even more detailed display of materials right to homeowners’ doors,” Noe said. “Customers can see and feel life-size examples of working windows, doors, screening, insulating panels, roofs and pergolas at the curb.”

Sales of aluminum sunroom additions have been especially strong, Noe said. “Some builders shy away from solariums because of the permitting and other requirements,” Noe said. “Our 4 season room business is better than ever. It’s a smooth process for us because we have experts who deal with permitting officials and homeowners associations.”

Venetian recently added Metals USA pergolas and lattice to its offerings. It also had begun to offer giant skylights that are part of an integrated Metals USA roof system that meets the tough Florida Building Code.

In West Palm Beach, the company also is satisfying a demand for screened front entries.
