French car manufacturer Renault has revealed the prices for its new Captur crossover, which will start from £12,495.

This base price is for the entry-level Expression model and they rise up to £18,995 for the top-spec Dynamique S MediaNav.

There will be three engines available with the Captur, which are a 0.9-litre TCe petrol, a 1.2-litre TCe petrol and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel.

In terms of features, the Expression model comes complete with 16-inch alloy wheels, a speed limiter and cruise control.

Car Loan 4U Director Ryan Dignan, comments:

“It’s always good to have a range of different grades for a new model and I like the sound of the Dynamique S MediaNav with the 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats and rear parking sensors.

“There are big rivals in the crossover field, which includes the Nissan Juke and the Peugeot 2008, but the Renault Captur looks like a smart model and is competitively priced.

“It seems to be generating some good buzz from the first drives and I imagine it will be a popular model when it goes on sale from May 1st 2013.”
