Matchbox Twenty and the Goo Goo Dolls, two 1990’s-era pop rock bands, are teaming up to tour the American continent.

The 32-date North American leg of their North Tour, set to run from June through August, opens at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on June 25.

Matchbox Twenty is still pumping promo support into their latest album, North, while the Goo Goo Dolls are prepping to release a new album called Magnetic in June.

After Manchester, the bands perform at: the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga, New York on June 26; the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario on June 27; the First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown, Penn. on June 29; the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 30; the Ravinia Pavilion in Highland Park, Illinois on July 2 and 3; the DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan on July 6, and the Kilpsch Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana on July 7.

The tour is then booked for multiple dates in Missouri, Colorado, California, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. The current wrap is set for the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass. on August 18.

After their third album, More Than You Think You Are in 2002, the band went on hiatus in 2004, reunited and broke up again. Thomas embarked on a successful solo career. Then the group reunited again in 2010 and released their fourth album last year.

Their co-headliners, the Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1986 – and best known for their 1998 single "Iris". Featured in the movie City of Angels, the song stayed Number One on the Hot 100 Airplay chart for 18 weeks and remained on the Billboard charts for over 11 straight months.
