We believe GoNow’s eWallet Platform and Card will ignite mass market eWallet adoption because it is the only eWallet solution that works everywhere consumers shop.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
Digital Life Technologies’ innovative GoNow eWallet Card is an electronic reprogrammable device designed to simplify life for consumers while improving ROI for eWallet issuers. The card finally allows consumers to have an eWallet (mobile wallet) that can make payments everywhere. Digital Life has been invited to demonstrate the GoNow eWallet Platform and Card for the country’s leading financial executives, venture capitalists, press and industry analysts at FinovateSpring May 14 and 15 in San Francisco.
“Having an opportunity to present the GoNow eWallet Platform and Card for financial industry experts who are seeking revolutionary technologies is very exciting,” says Doug Spodak, CEO of Digital Life Technologies. “We believe GoNow’s eWallet Platform and Card will ignite mass market eWallet adoption because it is the only eWallet solution that works everywhere consumers shop with existing payment infrastructure.”
The GoNow eWallet Card looks like a standard credit or debit card. When it is in close proximity to a smartphone it can be programmed by the users’ eWallet application to become any credit, debit, loyalty or stored value card in their eWallet. The GoNow eWallet Card can then be tapped or swiped at all existing POS terminals and ATMs without any change to existing payment infrastructure. To address security concerns, the GoNow eWallet Card has a secure element to store consumer’s confidential card data that can be used in lieu of, or in addition to, a secure element in the phone or cloud.
The GoNow eWallet Card is part of the GoNow eWallet Platform that includes a user-friendly eWallet application plus an easy way for consumers to add payment, gift and loyalty cards to their eWallet by simply swiping their cards through an encrypted audio jack magnetic stripe reader. This end-to-end solution is designed to accelerate mass market adoption of eWallets, Spodak says. Banks and technology companies planning to launch an eWallet have more options and control, and can get to market faster. The GoNow products are white-labeled to companies launching an eWallet, or enhancing an existing eWallet, to build upon their brand and begin generating revenue immediately because it is easy to deploy and provides universal acceptance.
“Presenting the GoNow eWallet Platform and Card at FinovateSpring will help put this card in the hands of consumers while strengthening their relationships with financial institutions,” Spodak adds. “Everyone benefits.”
One major U.S. bank and one technology company already have integrated the GoNow eWallet Card with their eWallets and are preparing for commercial launch.
This project is supported by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
