We are very focused on helping our clients to re-enter the workforce and to find great work opportunities that match their skills.

Halfway There of South Florida’s Career Coaching Program is fulfilling a need that many recovering addicts have lamented about when it comes to leaving treatment and trying to return to a normal lifestyle. One of the major challenges in doing so is finding a source of employment, especially in cases where one has been out of work for long periods of time and does not know where to begin in etiquette, resume writing, or what type of employment to seek for their skills. This is where the Career Coaching Program can assist.
There are actually three levels of services provided in the Career Coaching Program offered at Halfway There Sober Living. This is because the program is not meant to be “one size fits all”. Level one provides an assessment with a full on plan and goals, resume writing, job search strategies and assistance with how to seek the right opportunities, education on interview etiquette and mock interviews, and six weeks of follow up. Level two is similar but less intensive and includes three weeks of follow up. Level one focuses on resume development and interviewing techniques and includes one follow up session. There is a level to fit just about anyone’s situation or budget, and the program is very affordable so that it is not out of reach for those who need it most.
Carrie of Halfway There of South Florida says of the newly added program, “Our Career Coaching consists of different levels so that we can individualize the program as much as possible and to apply our strategies to people in the ways that will best suit their needs and situation. We are very focused on helping our clients to re-enter the workforce and to find great work opportunities that match their skills. We want to encourage them in their sobriety and show them where to start. We will consistently look for ways to help our clients avoid relapse and live a normal life after rehab.”
