Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
An amazing opportunity lies ahead for those who would like to learn about photography and for those who would like to advance their photography skills. June 16th through the 20th the Professional Photography School, Winona, will offer five of the top teachers and professionals in the business of photography.
This is the 5th year of operation as Winona School of Photography sponsored by the Professional Photographers of Indiana (PPI).
Winona is a Professional Photographers of America (PPA) affiliate accredited School by which to advance and learn the craft, and earn degrees in Photography from PPA.
The Mission Statement of Winona states a complete purpose. Winona School’s sole intent is to provide quality education for the professional photographer and also some basic working tools for the aspiring photographer, for the ultimate growth and development of the profession of photography. Further, the intent is to also teach, share and uphold the highest level of professional standards.
An exciting education opportunity for photographers, in the serenity setting of Brown County State Park, West of Bloomington, Indiana in the Nashville area. It is one of the most delightful areas for an educational experience. The trails, trees, hill and hollers, sunsets, or sunrise, is all a part of the experience of attending Winona School of Photography.
Choose from the instructor list, which will best meet your needs and help learn steps at the appropriate level. Whether the level is beginning, for a basic understanding class, or for a more advance subject matter class, students study the correct techniques, instructed with models.
The camaraderie and friendships made with other photographers at Winona are made for a lifetime. There is no better way to expand your knowledge and relationships.
There is a selection of great instructors, teaching specifics that will fill everyone’s needs and answer many questions, thus advancing the knowledge and experience of all attendees. In todays technology lessons can learned from a DVD, or the internet, but to probe the mind of an experienced professional over four day presents insight and understanding obtained no other way. Learn by doing under the guidance of a very knowledgable teacher in the profession, not by watching.
After the lectures, there is a time of hands on practice with models to help practice the techniques learned in the day’s classroom period.
Teaching, “Mastering the Principles of Photography” is David Whitefield M. Photographer and James Wyant, M Photogr., Cr. This is a basic course for the beginner, or those only active for a year or two.
Choose from the following list of excellent instructors:
Dennis Hammon, PPA Master, PPA Craftsmen, will be instructing the more advanced class with “Developing the Photographer Within”. There is a minimum experience required for this class.
