The new InstantQuote tool is the only tool you need to understand medical insurance coverage, limits, and premiums in one easy-to-read format.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
India Network Foundation, a non-profit US-based sponsor of visitor health insurance, announced today their new “InstantQuote” tool, which summarizes all available plans, plan maximums, pre-existing condition coverage limits and deductible in a simple and easy-to-understand format. The technology tool is designed to help members make an informative decision about the plan for their visiting parents.
Many elderly Asian Indian parents often find it difficult to understand the health insurance options that are available on various insurance web sites. Recent green card holders who travel to the United States with diabetes, high blood pressure, or any other medical condition may be eligible for an India Network health plan with pre-existing condition coverage provided they maintain their permanent place of residence outside the United States.
Dr. KV Rao, India Network Foundation founder, commented, “The new InstantQuote tool is the only tool you need to understand medical insurance coverage, limits, and premiums in one easy-to-read format. We hope it helps those enrolling for the first time as well as those returning members comparing health insurance programs."
Insurance programs that offer domestic health insurance, such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield or United Health Care, Cigna, etc., are all confusing, even to the health insurance agents marketing them as well as those administering their programs. The goal of the India Network Health Insurance programs is to empower the end user with full knowledge of the program they are purchasing so that they exactly know how much will be paid under scheduled benefit plans and comprehensive plans (80/20).
Today, almost all visitor health insurance plans in the market either fully or partially deny all claims related to heart problems, stroke, brain hemorrhage, etc. under one pretense or another. However, these plans are confusing the end user, since most are without a clear statement on major ailments such as heart attack, stroke, and brain hemorrhage, etc. India Network claims experience shows that diabetes and blood pressure are the two prominent medical problems among Indian parents visiting the United States that require at least one visit to an emergency room. India Network Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to pre-existing medical insurance through its recent expansion of insurance coverage, formally introduced three years ago.
Currently, India Network Health Insurance provides a $60,000 coverage for pre-existing condition related issues under its scheduled benefit programs; and a maximum of $25,000 coverage for pre-existing conditions under comprehensive plans with just $250 deductible. A new Platinum program requires only 30 days duration to participate in a program with pre-existing condition coverage.
