NY, NY (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
Move This World (MTW) -- a global nonprofit using creative movement to transform conflict, violence and bullying in communities worldwide, is hosting its Spring Fling at The Bowery Hotel Friday, May 3.
Together with its Young Trustees, Move This World will host an open bar from 9pm to midnight at The Bowery Hotel. DJ Alex Cecil will be spinning beats all night, auction prizes from elite establishments throughout the city will abound, and an attendee list full of NYC movers and shakers is already at over 80% capacity.
MTW's Young Trustees, a junior board of NYC-based young professionals who mobilize excitement and resources for the organization, are thrilled to continue the momentum from their Holiday Jam at The Thompson Hotel last year.
"We are so proud to be ambassadors of such an important organization like Move This World," said Sam Handler, Young Trustee. "We've visited our classrooms and seen the impact this curriculum has on the communities it serves, and now we want to help share Move This World's message with a larger audience."
Sara Potler LaHayne, Founder and CEO of Move This World, added, "Our Holiday Jam was an amazing platform to introduce Move This World to the greater NYC community, and we're excited to do it bigger and better at The Bowery. Our Young Trustees are some of the most fiercely committed, brilliant and fun individuals with whom I've had the privilege of working. We wouldn't be able to make this event happen without their collective laser focus." The Spring Fling is sponsored in part by Budweiser, Bootleger Vodka, Radeberger, Herradura, Woodford Reserve, Bulldog Gin, and Ty - Ku.
