360institute, a 360training.com affiliate, is now a member of National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). 360institute endorses the paralegal concept and is actively involved in the promotion of the paralegal profession. After meeting eligibility requirements, its graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Paralegal Exam (CP Exam). An elite group of paralegals (about 8%) are NALA Certified Paralegals or Advanced Certified Paralegals, making the designation highly desirable to attorneys. Also, the credential is recognized by the American Bar Association, as well as over 47 legal assistant organizations and many bar associations.

The paralegal certification is provided by NALA, the leading United States paralegal association, which tests examinees knowledge via true/false, multiple choice, and matching questions, as well as an essay question to test analytical skills. These exam questions cover five sections –

  •     Communications
  •     Ethics
  •     Legal Research
  •     Judgment & Analytical Ability
  •     Substantive Law

360institute's online Paralegal Program has 950 clock hours and has courses ranging from business law to paralegal specialties, as well as legal transcription. The online courses will teach students –

  •     Research and citation skills
  •     Contract, sales, and agency law
  •     Grammar skills
  •     How to transcribe dictation
  •     Legal document creation

“We work hard to create valuable, yet affordable, programs for our students. Having our Paralegal Program recognized by NALA is a testament to our commitment to providing a quality education,” said Angela Baker, Manager of Workforce Partnerships at 360training.com.
