From a database of over 20,000 companies who are known to offer flexible work options, FlexJobs has released the top ten companies who offer the most flexible job opportunities. In April 2013, these ten companies had the most job openings which included work from home jobs, flexible scheduling, part-time hours, and contract or freelance positions.

“Every month, we take a good look at our job listing data to find out the top industries hiring for flexible jobs,” Sara Sutton Fell, CEO of FlexJobs said. “This month we decided to study the top companies who have the most positions available that offer some type of flexibility, and we are very excited to see such big name companies offering flexible work options. It really shows that, despite high-profile controversies over flexible work options like with Yahoo, that large companies are still embracing this way of working.”

The top ten companies offering flexible jobs include:

1.     ADP

2.     Xerox

3.     AT&T

4.     Enterprise Contact Center

5.     Sodexo

6.     U-Haul

7.     Ecolab

8.     HealthFitness

10.     Internet Brands, Inc.

All of the companies and jobs listed at FlexJobs must first be approved by the job search service's research team, which works to weed out scams and bogus business opportunities. Once deemed legitimate with professional employment opportunities, it is free for companies to post jobs on the site. There are over 50 career categories, and job opportunities range from entry-level to executive level, part-time to full-time, and freelance to employee status.

“We’re happy to feature this past month's most active companies, but it’s more exciting overall that we have found over 25,000 employers who offer work from home and other flexible jobs,” stated Fell.

Now in its sixth year, FlexJobs has seen available jobs double over the last year, and employers who have signed up with the site to find eligible candidates have grown drastically. Positions posted on the site range from medical to accounting to everything in between in 50+ career fields.
