Sherman Oaks-based Make It Happen Productions (MIHP) collaborated with Los Angeles based D Agency Creative for an explosive promotional campaign. Their first production together shot last month in Chicago. The promotional campaign for the upcoming competition series ‘The Big Brain Theory’ has been airing on Discovery networks. Actor Kal Penn of ‘Harold and Kumar’ hosts the upcoming series and stars in the campaign. As they have in the past, for such successful series as ‘Nip Tuck’, ‘The Shield’ and most recently ‘Real Music Live’, MIHP produced the promotional campaign to launch the new series, which premieres Wednesday, May 1st on Discovery.
Another campaign MIHP was privileged to produce is making waves on the web. Los Angeles based 360 Agency turned to MIHP and Director, Billy Frank, to write, produce, creative direct and post produce a public service announcement featuring ‘American Idol’ season eight break-out-star Adam Lambert. Together with AT&T and The Trevor Project, Adam is encouraging lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and questioning youth across the nation to join forces and share their ‘proud moments’. The team at MIHP was honored to be asked to participate in a project with such a noble cause.

Additionally, MIHP just concluded post-production on a web campaign featuring Food Network celebrity chef Robert Irvine. While hosting his series ‘Restaurant: Impossible’, Robert learned first hand what a struggle it is for restaurants to keep their doors open during these trying economic times. MIHP produced the comedic campaign, which features not only Robert Irvine, but also rising-star Bentley, the chimpanzee.
